Lightbulb PROcede v4 Aggression Levels (93 Octane Users)

I've been doing several logs since the new 4-15 maps came out. With these new maps the introduction of Auto-Tune Logging Parameter has been established as Debug Byte 6. Since Shiv has stated that most of the driving condition the value should range from 1-3. 0-1 being to conservative, over 3 being to aggressive, and 1-3 being the sweet spot.

I know most of this stuff will be tuned for us when Auto-Tune is fully released. I also know that most cars vary a little different as well. That said, I just threw a chart together with the Peak Aggression level after logging. Can you guys and girls, that are near or fully stock running 93 octane submit your peak aggression value? Obvious, if there is a drop in timing or knock in your logs please address it before logging the Peak Aggression Level. Please read here before data-logging.

I'm just trying to alleviate the burden of people running many logs (which saves some gas and time) and give them a good starting reference point. Basically I want to collect as much data from different people running similar setups and draw a reference from that. Now that we have a channel that computes the aggression level by User Torque and Ignition Correction, it'll be a more simplistic way for us to fine tune our custom levels. If you guys have some input please comment as well, as this is just an idea. Below is the chart I want to fill in. As you see I didn't want to go over 60% User Torque, as that will be to aggressive for this kind of setup and induce knock. As per Shiv stated here, is much better tuning the Ignition Correction setting than the User Torque, as the car will be more drivable and more responsive.

All values are entered after 3 WOTS over 4K RPM.
Spent $65 in gas and over 255 miles so far...

Preferably looking for near stock running 93 octane. (Outside temp preferably 45-65˚F)(7.0-18.5C)

Updated some runs today!

Its not a total waste of time as this will show the reference point of which to start. Auto-Tune will then massage the tune to a degree we can't do.

Shiv, I've notice the Aggression level does not change after it peaked until I rev it again over 3200 RPM. If the peak stays at 1.7, it doesn't go down until I rev it back above 3200 RPM. The same in reverse, it doesn't raise higher until I rev it over 4300 RPM. Are there set RPM triggers that makes this happen?

If it matters at all, my aggression on 93+meth 77UT 0IC is 3.5.

I was 2.5 at 55UT 60IC with my meth disabled.

I think Shiv stated in his instructions on the Vishnu site that the auto tune aggression value will not change with normal driving conditions.

So basically it stays put under normal driving.......I guess because that is not considered aggressive driving (for some).

It's also great that it remains static because you can glance over at your laptop anytime after a run and read the post-run reading.

If it was constantly dynamic.....you would have to pull over and view a log.

Have I got that logic right....

I was data-logging all the way to Norwalk today and all the way back when I had a chance thru traffic. I totally agree with it not being dynamic. I do have a few ideas though. I was also glancing at the laptop to see the change in value, that's why I asked those questions because those were my observations in RPM.

Correct. As explained in the docs, it only measures/updates aggressive when the car is being driven under moderate to full boost. Having it do otherwise wouldn't make sense. There's a bunch of other conditions as well (in-gear, stable throttle/no DTC intervention, above a certain can dbw throttle angle, etc,.). So don't expect it to change when just tooling around down.

I'll add different people settings to the chart as well, so people can get an idea of what mods they use.
I'll differentiate them by different colors.

Shiv, why I only get readings by .02 & .03. I was data-logging all night and notice this pattern. It starts with .02 then adds .03 then adds .02 then adds .03, etc..

For example the aggression levels are:
0.2 - 0.5 - 0.7 - 1.0 - 1.2 - 1.5 - 1.7 - 2.0 - 2.2 - 2.5 - 2.7 - 3.0

That's pretty good. I could probably push 60/50 but will wait for full autotune. 55/55 is scary enough for me

Only difference is he has a catless exhaust from you and he is peaking at 2.0 and you are at 2.2. Didn't know the exhaust gave a little better performance in regard to this. I'm glad we have this channel to compensate the difference in performance between mods in a way.

Altec,

I am fully catless as well and essentially the same as dzenno, except he is on 94oct and I'm on 93 - which is why his aggression # is slightly less than mine. The weather is also cool here

If I were to run meth and essentially boost my octane, I'd imagine my aggression number would decrease, which means I could then make my procede settings more aggressive to put me back in the 2-3 "sweet spot".

BMS DCI, Helix FMIC, AR Design catless DP's and Mille Miglia catless exhaust.

Updated.
I would like to input as much data as possible even if they are to aggressive. Want to see how aggressive these cars get with different mods.
